I need a guitar, bass guitar, saxamaphone, trumpet and a few others if we can work together.

Also need some fantasy & human avatars to use as NPC's. Rigged and decent LOD when rezzed.

Could be a few more things too, I love building and need some new models to work with.

Rigged mesh with a lower LOD when rezzed, most standard avatars rez out at hundreds of LI, especially hair & shoes.

Someone really needs to make FP hair & shoes for animesh use.

Must be FP as I am a merchant and will be reselling a finished product.

Thanks for looking!

Look for some of animats' posts in the Animesh sub forum here, he has created some animesh NPCs using full perm hair and shoes. Maybe send him a message to find out where he got them.

Meli Imako has full perm hair for animesh, along with some other minor items.

Shoes in SL tend to have huge triangle counts and will push the LI of your animesh way up. I got Duck Girl to make me a nice pair of low-poly sneakers and a hoodie as custom jobs. But that's all I have in mesh animesh wardrobe.

There's not that much clothing available for animesh. I just had a few items made to show it was possible. I was hoping that some already in the SL clothing biz would pick up on that and offer low-poly versions of their items. But nobody did.

If anybody wants to produce low-LI animesh versions of their rigged mesh clothing, please get in touch with me. I'd like to give my NPCs a bigger wardrobe.

From left to right,

  • Mesh hoodie and shoes by Duck Girl, hair by Meli Imako, and a holiday hat from Marketplace. 50 LI total, much of which is the hat. Texture clothing pants.
  • Dress from Marketplace. 48 LI. The dress is no good for animesh; it blanks out at about 25 meters due to poor lower LODs.
  • Texture clothing only, except for the shoes. 33 LI.
  • The kid is from Marketplace, and is probably a minor character from some game. 24 LI. The clothing is built into the character base and cannot be changed in world.

He has the same issues I do. People aren't making "animesh friendly" rigged items. Especially for creators to use and resell.

Rigged mesh shoes and hair with low LI when rezzed would be very popular. There's only one or two FP hairs that come in under 100 LI and zero shoes that aren't like 2000 LI when rezzed.

I even learned Blender to make a few simple things myself but I'm not good enough to create much past the tutorial mug.

I've added the avastar plug in and am about to start buying mesh models from 3D content sites and rigging them myself. Just adding another level of complexity and more man hours but at this point it's my only option. Until LL gives us attachment point support for animesh everything has to be rigged.

If Project Muscadine was implemented in full, including attach point support, then we wouldn't have to search the internet to find mesh and then try rigging/weighting it when we want to simply put something like an instrument or cup or knife or gun or sword or ball in an NPC's hand. We could use what is already available in-world and/or not have to do any rigging/weighting.

@Vir Linden Please end our suffering soon! 🙏

. . .care to explain this mysterious 'project muscadine'?

Project Muscadine currently is a project viewer and simulator code for body shape and body physics support for animesh.

There currently are no regions on aditi that are running the code like there were over a year ago, but the viewer still exists.
