How long does it take for legacy names to change?

So recently I changed my legacy name but it still shows my old legacy name that is no longer active is there a reason it still shows like that on mysecondlife website for profiles?

For me it took about a day for everything everywhere to change.

The login to forums seems to be separate from the Dashboard. I only ever have to log back in to forums if I’ve actually logged out.

Yes I did log out and back in but it still shows my old name for the mysecondlife for like profile stuff.

Did you log in with your new name?

When I did it, I remember having to log in with my new name. I don't think it explictly said to do it, it was kind of one of those "Duh..." things that is not automatic and it still lets you log in with your old name.

perhaps a sideway... did your payment go through?

Clear out your browsers cache completely, it will force anything that's logged in to be logged out.
As one person mentioned, check your bank or paypal to see if the payment was even taken out of your account.
Restart the browser after clearing the cache and log back in.
If none of that works. then make a case with LL or call them, I think this would count as a billing issue.

I cleared my browser cache seemed to work on Chrome since I use that more than any other browser thank you for the help.
