Anna May
Hi, i am a premiummember. I sold my mainland 1024 that was free After that i got the houseboat for premiums. So i did not have 2 plots at the same time, than sl charged me for 7 dollar plus vat .I think this isnt fair. Can you explain me how this happened and what will happen next month? Mollymews
best to raise a Support Case about this. Support person will be able to help you better just add, only way this would normally happen if we don't own any land, is if we had assigned tier to a group and forgot to withdraw it before getting the houseboat but as you say it might be a billing system error and Support be able to sort this out for you
SarahThe Wanderer
I think it was best if you waited till next month to get a linden home, they have this system where even if you sold your land it will still count as your land till next month! so when you got a linden home, they charged you for your mainland parcel, because it still count as your land. 3 hours ago, Anna May said: Can you explain me how this happened and what will happen next month? No, next month they won't charge you, it will be free.

No, next month they won't charge you, it will be free. this isn't right. As soon you sell land the tier is free, and can buy the same amount of land again without raising. It will only ask for a personal action, by taking back the tier, when using a group. If you forget that, you can indeed get a higher tier level when buying on personal use. ( donated tier counts as in use) Edited February 23, 2021 by Alwin Alcott

If so it's solved. Why bother the busy support with most likley a non issue before it's checked. Edited February 23, 2021 by Alwin Alcott

Qie Niangao
Okay, but still let's find out whether that Mainland 1024 was group-deeded, because if it was, I think the OP has a case to argue for getting a credit for charges, and then would be the time to open that Support ticket. Here's what I'm thinking: If you're a Mainlander, open your Land Use Fees page on the dashboard and see if it makes sense to you. Mine does at the moment, but earlier today it was really confused, showing me at the $0.0 tier level, but with all options greyed out up to a sim and a half. Mine still says "You can acquire up to square meters without additional land use fees" with no number of square meters specified. I believe this page was a victim of Uplift, and may still be having problems, in which case it wouldn't be surprising if somebody was misinformed about what tier they might end up paying. On the other hand, it's seven bucks, maybe fourteen if it goes for another month, and I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time for such a small sum. It would be worth figuring out whether something needs to be done to keep it from recurring forever.
