During this time, residents may be temporarily unable to log in. Please follow this blog for updates. And this Second Life will be undergoing a bake deploy on Thursday, February 18th at 6AM PST. KT Kingsley 725 Posted February 11 Share Posted February 11 The bake service is the process that generates the BoM and system avatar textures by combining the skin, tattoo, clothing and alpha layers into a single texture. It's the first time I've seen that mentioned in a status update, too. I didn't know that premium services had their own processes distinct from everything else. Wouldn't it be wonderful if my fervent wish would come true -- the ability to swap Linden homes between premium alts and main accounts? Maybe we're getting "super" premium in 2021!
