What is srong with the Linden House service?

I surredered my Linden home because I want a houseboat....found one and selected it and when I gave it a nae I was told that the House SErvice is not working

I think we might need a bit more info, but I'll take some guesses below.

 

You cannot just pick a houseboat from inworld. You can only get a random location assigned one via your Dashboard -

If you see a Houseboat on that page and try to select it but then get an unavailable message - it means someone else got through the acceptance process faster than you did and the Houseboat is gone.  You'll have to try again from the beginning of the process.

 

If you actually do have an assigned parcel inworld and are having issues trying to rez one via the Life Preserver, first try a reset -- left click the Life Preserver and HOLD until you see a Reset message in chat.  Wait one minute and then try to rez the Houseboat again.  If that doesn't work,  then you'll need to contact Support either via a Ticket or Live Chat:

Sometimes the server hiccups unfortunately,  and you get a page down kind of error like that. Try it again if it happens. If it happens over and over contact support.   I see boats on the page again now, maybe you can try again, if you have not already
