I'm going to guess that you have placed an offer for a Limit Buy and have set an asking price that is lower than the price where the largest volume of current order are sitting at the moment.  If that's the case, you'll have to wait until all those order that are willing to pay a higher price than your have cleared the LindeX.  Depending on exactly how low your offer was and how long it's been sitting there, it may take a few days ... or weeks .. or months ... or forever until some seller is desperate enough to sell at your offered price.  If you want an instant trade, use the Market Buy option.  That will place your offer at whatever the current market is willing to pay, and your order will go through in seconds.  Unless you are planning to buy more than about $20 worth of L$, it usually doesn't make much difference whether you use the Market Buy or the Limit Buy option, so you might as well forget about using Limit Buy for small orders.

Just cancel your current order and submit a new one, using the Market Buy option next time.  To cancel, open Linden Exchange >> Manage >> LindeX Order History on your dashboard.  Highlight your order and cancel it.  The money that Linden Lab has been reserving in escrow for that order will be transferred to the USD balance in your account, available for your next order.
