AMD Radeon Graphics Ryzen 3 help

I got a new laptop with a  AMD Radeon  Ryzen 3 graphics and 8 gigs of  ram.  When I downloaded firestorm on to  my laptop  it had my  graphics set past Mid and  draw distance to 128 but Im  finding  that my  fps is  below 10  or more if anyone and i mean  anyone is nearby,  it looks beautiful and works okay  except for a few crashes.  Is there a way to get this to work or should I even try?

Lower the draw distance to something reasonable like 96 at max.
