0 Rolig Loon
How did you order them? If you used the Limit Buy option, chances are pretty good that you set an offering price that was too low to attract any residents who might be interested in selling L$ to you. Right now, for example, the greatest volume of open BUY offers is at L$250/US$1.00 . If you offer to buy at that price, you will have to wait until all of the orders that were placed before yours have filled. If you offer to buy L$251 or more for your dollar, you'll have to wait even longer. (Those poor people who are hoping to buy at L$255/US$1.00 will probably still be waiting by the 4th of July.) In general, the best idea is to offer to buy slightly fewer L$ for your dollar than wherever the greatest volume of offers is. In this case, I would try L$248 or L$249/US$1.00. Or, unless you are trying to buy more than about $40 worth of L$, I'd suggest simply using the Market Buy option. It really only makes sense to use the Limit Buy option for relatively large orders, because the slight difference in net cost between the current market price and the "best" limit price is negligible.

Do a market buy and not a limit buy.
0 seanwonderman
So are we supposed to just count the loss and buy them again?
0 Rolig Loon
What loss? You haven't lost anything. Cancel the transaction by opening your dashboard at secondlife.com to look at Linden Exchange >>> Manage >>> Transaction History, selecting the current transaction, and canceling it. The amount that Linden Lab was holding in escrow will be transferred to the USD balance in your account, where it will be available when you open a new transaction.
