I have no idea where to go to find good skins for older men, much less fantasy skins for something like a dark elf.  (Bluish/grey skin tone.)  Does this even exist?  It would be okay if the aged skin is a tattoo layer worn separately.  I'm assuming that's what I'll have to do to get this look.

Are you using a system or mesh avatar (head)?

This skin is some years old, and only for the system avatar. I think it already has a grown-up look, and with wrinkle layers, it gets older.

But if you use mesh body and head, it is not sure to fit. The mesh body will probably work, with tintable fingertips and toes. The head, is a very different problem. But if you like the Baenar skin, I would try a demo and see what can be done with it. You will need BoM on both mesh head and body, for it to work.

As mentioned by @Marianne Little

Aeros, that same store that sells the really popular male genitals, also sells a system avatar male Drow skin. It is probably the best male drow skin is SL. I have never seen its equal. Being a system skin, however, you would have to use BOM to apply it to mesh bodies and heads.

I have done so and it generally looks great, save for some the fingers and toes; the texture is a bit wonky on those parts. In addition, at L$ 2, 000, it is rather expensive for a system skin. On the plus side, you do get lots of options and there are matching  mesh ears you can get at the in-world store.

Here is a MP link to the DEMO:

I'm fairly certain that's both a custom skin and a custom head. Walton Wainwright is part of a creator studio that also comprises the creators for the Hotdog, Clemmm, and Peculiar Things stores. The avatars used in all of their ads tend to share a similar look, which is reminiscent in style of a set of horror gacha heads released by Hotdog a couple of years back. So I would hazard a guess that neither the heads nor the skins are for sale.

The OP hasn't responded to questions about whether they are using a mesh head and body or a system avatar, so it's tricky to recommend anything otherwise. Since they want 'dark elf' I will second recommendations for The Plastik and Fallen Gods for skins, with additional layering for age lines and abrasions etc. There are several events where such layers and items could be obtained. Right now Midnight Order (runs until Feb 20th) might have something that suits, or the OP can take a look at events like Darkness Monthly, and Necrotise (all info can be found at the Seraphim website).

If the OP is looking at a mesh head and body purchase then I might suggest the Scott head and possibly the Louis body (which is very emaciated, and might not be to their liking) by The Prop Shop. The Scott head is very similar to the one in the referenced image. Both that head and body are modifiable, so they could be set to use Bakes on Mesh (and thus use system skins), but do please try the demos first, as there are a couple of reviews on the head that suggest there may be neck seam issues, even with the body it's intended to work with.

Another slim body that's recently on the market is the KJ-MXS body, a demo of which can be picked up inworld, here. Again, not sure how (or if) it will work against the Scott head, but it's another option.
