Sandriel Yazimoto
Hi! I'm really new to blender + modeling in general, but I'm attempting to make a cel-shaded/outline mod for a mesh head I bought off the marketplace. The process for actually making the outline effect was straight forward enough, but I have some problems once the mesh is uploaded into the game. Namely, how do I get it to be rigged the same way as the original head? The originally is mostly static, but has options for different jaw states and changes shape with the appearance sliders. How do I rig the outline object so it responds the same way? Thank you in advance!
Kyrah Abattoir
If you have the source file, the backfaced outline should use the same weighting.

Thank you for the response! The file I have doesn't seem to have any weight painting at all, so I might be out of luck. Thank you anyway!
