As such it is still questionable as to whether or not **LL** is still obliged to pay VAT for transactions originating from the UK. Nobody has given a definitive answer to this although I appreciate we now know LL’s stance on the matter. Per the UK government website, VAT is to be paid by other countries: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-vat-rules-if-you-supply-digital-services-to-private-consumers

The 1994 Value Added Tax legislation is here: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1994/23/contents the EU directive to which Britain was subject too (and no longer), is a treaty framework which EU countries adhere to when making changes to VAT that they may of may not charge to their people/companies. Britain exiting the EU doesn't change the obligation to pay VAT as per the 1994 act
Candide LeMay 10
If you are in EU and want to compete with other landlords, create a formal business entity, apply for a VAT registration number and deal with the VAT in your accounting etc. Run a business like a business. If you want to just have a private sim for yourself, rent it from the existing landlords and pay in L$ - L$ purchases don't have VAT applied.

With the rigth landlord renting is cheaper than owning.
