Being logged out seconds after logging

Here's some general things you could try:

It could be a connection issue - SL requires a very stable connection.  If you are using a wireless connection you should try a wired connection to see if that helps.  Also, restart your router, and then restart your computer.  

I would also suggest downloading the LL viewer and trying that viewer out to see if you get the same issue of being logged out right away.  

Another possible cause might be a 'flat inventory' where you have thousands of inventory items at the root level of the inventory, rather than in a hierarchy structure of sub-folders.  If you have this flat inventory problem, LL Support staff can generally get that fixed enough so that you can get logged in and then fine tune organizing an inventory file structure.  If  you're going to contact LL support, it's best to be using the LL viewer when you do so.

Likely a connection issue of some sort.  As Moira mentioned, definitely try wired connection if you were wireless.  Reboot your router & modem - sometimes even rebooting the computer can help.  You can also try logging directly in to a different region than wherever you have been logging in to.

You can have a great Internet connection and a horrible connection to Second Life. You need to test your connection to the SL system. See Troubleshoot Your #SL Connection.

The SL Viewer by Linden Lab is not going to give you an IP Address. You can get an address from Firestorm and I think most third-party viewers.
