Hi Cooltang,

I'm wondering if this is some sort of glitch with EEP. Just a stab in the dark at the moment.

What will be needed, if only to exclude the usual suspects, is the information about your setup. Get this from your viewer's top bar menus:-

Help -> About Firestorm -> Info tab

There is a "copy to clipboard" button that will capture the lot for you.....

then paste it here in a post.

As more knowledgable people pick up on this problem. they'll be able to see exactly what your current setup is. It will help them no end!

Hello Odaks,thank you.

I added the system info.

Great stuff! Thanks.....

The first thing I have noticed is that you are not running the latest release of Firestorm, which is Firestorm 6.4.12 (62831). This version has all the required fixes for EEP and, if this was the problem, updating to this version may well fix things.

https://www.firestormviewer.org/

(The page I've linked to above will tell you all about this new release, then you can lead on through to the actual download.)

If it solves the problem, do come back and tell us. I've no doubt you'll be back if it doesn't!

Edit to add:

For future reference, if you can be logged-in when you collect your system information from Help - About..., it will also give a bit of information about your connection. Probably not needed in this case, but just so you know.

Based on the fact that the "GAS" sign looks like a sign that's supposed to glow...

Open the Phototools window (World, Photo & Video, Phototools) and go to the DoF/Glow tab. Then press the little "D" button on all of the Glow settings to reset them back to default values.

It looks like you've changed at least the "Width" setting for glow iterations, which can make glow "separate" like this:

His version has NO eep at all so that isn't the problem.

I vote for Wulfie's answer. Getting in the habit of returning all the photo tool settings to DEFAULT is a GOOD thing LOL.

But in the future, before the OP (or anyone) goes into the reinstall, clean reinstall, drivers loops I suggest that they see if the problem is persistant on the LINDEN viewer. Even if you never use the Linden viewer for anything else it is good to have for testing AND if it actually is a server problem you will need to be able to prove it is a problem on the Linden viewer before support will help you.  So there is that too :D.

Edit: In THIS case things should have worked fine in the Linden viewer so it wouldn't be too much help, but there are plenty of cases when checking the Linden viewer will save lots of time --- lost inventory for one, mesh upload issues (not so much now) for another.
