Stilt Home Decorating - Show us your style

Two options:
 - Save as jpg as Cyanide mentions
 - Upload larger pics to a picture hosting site (Flickr, imgur, Gyazo) and then paste the link into the forum post.  Hard to explain, but some methods of pasting the link will not actually  "embed" the picture but instead simply show the link.  There are ways to get the "embed" to happen, but they can be different depending on the hosting site.  In any case, picture size doesn't matter for embedded pictures.

Using Google Chrome on Windows 10 (and probably many other combos) you can right click an image on the internet and "copy image" and then just paste here on the forums like you would a line of text! It works great for Gyazo and many other image hosting sites!

Love my shared new stilt house I am decorating with my friend.  I really did not think stilts would be my style, but a she convinced me, to come and try it. Now I love it.   A different Angle fr

I finally finished all my tweaking and fiddling and changing and rearranging and have a result I love. I wasn't excited about the stilts but now I am loving them! My Tortuga: Updated Living

I recognize a lot of furniture I also have LOL.  The Trompe kitchen looks great in the bigger house. Too big for this little one.  I had fun working outside in the garden and got to use a LOT of plant

Yes, but if you copy an image and paste it here, size will matter because it will be an uploaded image, as if you had dragged a computer saved image here.  Depending on how many pictures and their sizes, you might still hit the limit of what you can paste into a post.  Whereas with pictures embedded from links, there are no limits at all.

Nice, good to know! I wasn't aware the copy and paste method acts like uploading.

EDIT: But as soon as I typed that I realized "DUH", of course it does. You're copying and pasting the image itself and not the link, get it together Cyanide Pixie! 😆

Well crap! I tried editing my other post and it didn't work. On the upside I finally got the photos down enough to post them only it didn't let me. So just going to post them here instead. Thanks Cyanide Pixie, Leora Greenwood and LittleMe Jewell for the helpful tips. Resizing it and saving in jpeg worked. Now hopefully I don't forget how to do it again in the future.

VERY nice!  A lovely, beachy and original feel.

Love it! And that bed would work well in a non-stilt I'm working on. Do you mind sharing where you purchased it?

It's from Infinite, called Leslie's Bed.

Texture change for the bedding and frame. Quite different textures from most I see too.

A lot of the furniture I've used has more prims than I normally would use but the house is small so it doable. Plus one doesn't need much landscaping so that's a savings right there.

Lovely, inside and out!  I think I recognize that exterior shell; I have the Tortuga and Lauderdale ones and I love how they let us get soft, beachy colors like that pretty soft blue!

I like that the shell can go vertical in addition to horizonal. Kept the exterior color muted because I didn't feel it looked right otherwise. I started with a light orange ("Sunkissed") but it looked out of place with all the home so visible to each other.

Love that dresser.  Did you edit or is that the way it came, with the lighthouses?  From where, if I may ask?

It's from Serendipity, pretty sure that's the name.

Very cute stuff but a lot is too many prims. That dresser is 6, which wasn't awful and yes, the objects are part of the piece. Can't remember off hand if it was modify. I assume I never looked because I like it as is :)

I would like to announce that I am at the store now, and there is a naked male model there demonstrating the *cough* attachment they sell. It has physics!

I've not encountered something like that in a very long time.

I really need to get out more.

It's quite distracting, waving around like that! lol

I almost forgot to mention that it appears the dresser is mod...

EDIT: I just realized I'm looking at the wrong dresser. FOCUS.

This would have made a great outing for the Forum Cartel.

Not that anyone really seems to be into those kinds of things anymore but still would be fun

The dresser is Modify and even though it is LI=6,that includes the decor on top.  The dresser alone is likely only 1 or 2 LI, based on the object triangle count.  So if you needed to reduce the LI or didn't like the decor, you could unlink those parts and remove them.

I bought the cabinet and removed the items on top, and it's 3 LI. (Yay for no baked-on shadows!)
