Hard to explain, but some methods of pasting the link will not actually "embed" the picture but instead simply show the link. There are ways to get the "embed" to happen, but they can be different depending on the hosting site. In any case, picture size doesn't matter for embedded pictures. Using Google Chrome on Windows 10 (and probably many other combos) you can right click an image on the internet and "copy image" and then just paste here on the forums like you would a line of text! It works great for Gyazo and many other image hosting sites!

Yes, but if you copy an image and paste it here, size will matter because it will be an uploaded image, as if you had dragged a computer saved image here. Depending on how many pictures and their sizes, you might still hit the limit of what you can paste into a post. Whereas with pictures embedded from links, there are no limits at all.

Nice, good to know! I wasn't aware the copy and paste method acts like uploading. EDIT: But as soon as I typed that I realized "DUH", of course it does. You're copying and pasting the image itself and not the link, get it together Cyanide Pixie! 😆 Edited January 17 by Cyanide Pixie 4
AstraHunt 255
Well crap! I tried editing my other post and it didn't work. On the upside I finally got the photos down enough to post them only it didn't let me. So just going to post them here instead. Thanks Cyanide Pixie, Leora Greenwood and LittleMe Jewell for the helpful tips. Resizing it and saving in jpeg worked. Now hopefully I don't forget how to do it again in the future. View from the entrance Makeshift foyer View from the kitchen side Small kitchen Living Room Patio Patio And ... more patio! View from bedroom Bedroom is a bit sparse but oh well Can't have a house on water without loungers to soak the sun in I'm lucky to have a neighbor who loves trees Wide shot of the deck

Leora Greenwood 1,198
Lovely, inside and out! I think I recognize that exterior shell; I have the Tortuga and Lauderdale ones and I love how they let us get soft, beachy colors like that pretty soft blue!

Do you mind sharing where you purchased it? It's from Infinite, called Leslie's Bed. Texture change for the bedding and frame. Quite different textures from most I see too. A lot of the furniture I've used has more prims than I normally would use but the house is small so it doable. Plus one doesn't need much landscaping so that's a savings right there. 4

I like that the shell can go vertical in addition to horizonal. Kept the exterior color muted because I didn't feel it looked right otherwise. I started with a light orange ("Sunkissed") but it looked out of place with all the home so visible to each other.

That dresser is 6, which wasn't awful and yes, the objects are part of the piece. Can't remember off hand if it was modify. The dresser alone is likely only 1 or 2 LI, based on the object triangle count. So if you needed to reduce the LI or didn't like the decor, you could unlink those parts and remove them.
