Hello!

I having a issue I never saw before, for some reason SL is not letting me change the copy, modify or transfer option in my mesh.

There are none script inside the mesh, nothing that could mess the mesh creator or ownership.

Anything I could do to fix this issue?

The most common cause of this problem is simply lag. If that is the case, you just have to wait... and wait... and wait... and... until the perm checkboxes eventually become active. Moving to an empty low lag sandbox may or may not help.

You say there is nothing inside the mesh that can mess up the perms but how about the textures you use? are they all your own or full perm?

Of course it's also possible that the entry in the assets server has become corrupted. In that case I'm afraid the only solution is to reupload.

The fourth explanation I can think of, is the linkset trap. If you mesh has ever been part of a linkset where the root was a no copy and/or no transfer object by another creator, I'm afraid you're stuck. If you don't have a "clean" backup copy of your mesh, the only solution is to reupload.

I think the Lindens have set a special sensor that waits until you have to make something for a tenant or an event or on some deadline, and then it triggers this "can't edit my own object WTF" phenomenon.

It "knows".

That's my experience, anyway.

As Chin says, sometimes if I throw up my hands in despair and come back the next day it's back to normal.

But a lot of the time it isn't. So I have to make the entire thing again. Very rarely, I discover I've put some script or sculpty or something that wasn't on transfer in the mix. But usually it is inexplicable. I used to make the permissions for what I ultimately wanted in the early stages so I wouldn't forget them later and mess up a license. Now I leave them all on all perms until I can get the damn thing finished and then I study its perms in every part because *SL does this*. I swear to God it does, and whenever I ask people in groups about this, they have all had the experience.
