Age verification problem

I am having issues getting my NSFW huds to work and the normal huds to work. It's possible age verification since I can't go into some malls even though I have it set to general, adult and mature.

If there is a fix for this problem please let me know.

could it be possible  you'r on no script land?

most likely no age verification problem, but many venues exclude people under 30 days old from accesing their place.

I don't believe that HUDs not working would be an age verification issue.  Are you in a region that allows scripts?  Are you getting any error or script error messages?

  

It looks like your account is only 1 day old - there are some locations/businesses (oftentimes adult rated places) that don't allow accounts that are less than 30 days old.  That is a land setting, which is set by the land owner, and is not something that would affect whether HUDs work or not.   (And the age limit is determined by the land owner - it could be 14 days or 7 days or 60 days, etc., based on what the individual land owner chooses).

There is no age verification. And since you can set your viewable content to G/M/A, you also entered a birthdate that makes you 18+. Your HUD problem has likely nothing to do with your account at all. And the reason you may not be able to enter certain places is probably tied to other things, like for how long your account has existed. Some places do not allow new accounts to protect themselves from trolls and griefers.

Hi Kano!  As others have said, you're attributing the wrong cause to your problem(s).

• There is no more "age verification".  LL assumes the birth date you enter upon sign up is your age.  If that puts you under 18, you cannot set your maturity preferences to anything except G.  If you are 18 or over, as determined by the birth date you entered, you can change your maturity settings freely.
• Various venues do ban people whose accounts are less than XX days old.  This may be your problem with entering some places.
• Also, a venue owner can ban anyone she pleases, at any time, for any reason.
• Your HUDs might not operate for either of two reasons:
  • You are in a no script area.  Fly up to 100m or more and see if the HUDs start working again.
  • You were wearing the HUDs when you crashed.  Occasionally this will permanently break them.  Rez a fresh copy from a backup, or get a redelivery of the item.
