Does changing username (login name) affect the redelivery of items?

As most scripts in Second Life use the avatar's username, is it possible to have products redelivered if I were to change my username?

Specifically, I am concerned about being able to get updates to my Maitreya body.

Don't most use the uuid instead of or as well.as name?

Most scripts should be using the UUID for the avatar (which is associated with the name initially, but remains the same even after a name change) so re-deliveries should still work.   

Name change functionality has been in place for a quite a few months now, and I don't recall hearing of problems in the forums with redeliveries, especially from a large, well-known brand.   Except for the MP,  re-deliveries are handled by resident created processes, but there was a lot of discussion around scripts needing to use the UUID, and new functions added to the scripting language to make it easier for scripts to retrieve the necessary information, if I'm recalling points from some of the discussions the past few years correctly.  Being able to preserve that type of functionality is part of what made allowing name changes a complicated process to implement, I think.
