Firestorm shadows/enviroment missing?

Hey! I recently updated my viewer, firestorm. I backed up my settings for both my alts, as they were the same. However since the update one never showed up with shadows in world. The shadows is enabled in my grapics settings. I run both on ultra settings. 

 

This is my first alt, everything looked fine.

I thought maybe it was just the windlight settings. Both were set to 'use shared enviroment'.  I played around on the graphics slider (quality)  to see if I could replicate what I saw on my second alt but since doing so, I managed to get it stuck looking like my alt and now that one looks the same and so now I'm stuck with it looking like this on both. 😑 What is this issue? 

 

Edit: It's as if they kind of get stuck on a lower graphics setting even though it says they're not.

When you ask a tech question like this we need information about your viewer and computer. Use the viewer's HELP->About... and paste that information with your post. Without that information there isn't much we can say... or... it may be more accurate to say there are WAY TOO MANY possibilities.
