• Go to Edit > Preferences > click on the General tab (or Ctrl-P).
• Select PG, Mature and Adult from the Rating dropdown.
• Click Apply.

if you are out of the US, SS number is the best way to get age verified. Follow Charolotte's link too.

If you are a Premium or Concierge customer and you experience difficulty verifying your identity on the Second Life website, you may submit a new support case in order to verify your account manually.

1. Visit https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
2. Choose Account Issue from the first dropdown menu.
3. Choose Manual Age Verification from the next dropdown menu that appears.
4. Click Choose File to attach an electronic (scanned) copy of one of a Government issued identification that has your name and date of birth clearly displayed. This identification can be a birth certificate, driver's license, passport, or state ID or national ID.
5. Click Submit.

Please expect manual verification to take 5-7 working days.

If you are saying that you successfully age verified and account verified but you still cannot access adult content, have you changed your maturity rating in preferences?

If the problem is that you cannot change your maturity rating, are you under 18?

Residents who are under 18 are restricted to a G rating until they turn 18. If you joined SL before you were 18 and have since had your 18th birthday, you will need to contact support to get your maturity rating unstuck from G, because the system to deal with that situation is still not in place.
