i'm pretty new here and need a little help
Search on MP is very confusing by the many sellers that abuse the keywords.
I am looking for shapes for a certain head, but somebody putted all his merchandise for sale with the same keywords

Some do it because they don't bother to read the rules before putting things in the MP.   Some do it simply because it doesn't get reported that often and so there chance of getting away with it is very high -- LL does not have the manpower to proactively monitor every forum posting.

As Wulfie said, report it ----  every single time.

Some do it because even when reported, they get away with it.

The rules are loosely enforced at best.

True.

When I find someone abusing the keyword rule, I assume that if they do it on one item, they likely do it on all/most of them.  Thus, I go ahead and take the time to pull up the store page and check many items, reporting all that are violating the rule.  I usually do not have a problem spending 20-30 minutes reporting stuff. I figure it LL gets lots of reports of many different items from the same store, there is a better chance that someone will act on it.

I do a similar thing with stores that put Demo items out without linking them to the full version -- because that keeps them from being excluded when we check the box to exclude Demo items.

I don't mind spending some time reporting multiple items either, I use downtime at work for it.

Drives me nuts to find the same listing(s) again months later though, and it's marked as already reported.

Yup. I stopped reporting earlier this fall because things I'd reported two to three months earlier.. Still were up and not addressed. In addition, I've found stores with 30+ pages of gacha that were all clearly abusing keywords. Would have taken me hours to report them all individually and there's no way to report an entire store.

Yeah. There should be a "🚩 Flag this store" button.

well.. shows the manpower or will from LL to act on it... even after all this years of complaints.

LL straight up does not care.

Two of the stores I reported stuff from are blatantly violating listing guidelines. Even admit it right in their product descriptions, but the items stay up.
