If you are less than 30 days old, you can try to find some money off money trees. There are also some money gardens around, but I don't know anything about them.

For the money trees, search in world for Wolfhaven, or money tree, and you will find lots of places where you find them.

there are locations that have either Meetro Stations or Bletaverse cones you get paid by going to locations and staying there a set time this will get you the money you need but may take several days even weeks another option is to find xploders and enter them

I can imagine that you want this dress very much but are you sure that it is ok to ask for donation?  This is not a pill which saves your life or a piece of bread. If you don't want to pay real money try to earn for it inworld. You may find money trees and you can also search for contests in events: http://secondlife.com/community/events/ where the prize is in L$. You can also find a job (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inworld-Employment/bd-p/InworldEmployment).

As already mentioned, for me also, start to hunt the xploders arround. You can google for "second life xploders" to find easily the site where you can get informed for the places with the bigger pots. Not so many but be sure that you will earn lindens.

Also search for "Money Chests" for a few $Ls.
