To get a job, in SL or RL, you have to do something for your employer that makes it worth his or her while to pay you. For example a cashier at a store, the store owner will pay you to run the cash register because if they do not have a cashier they won't be able to sell their product and therefor wont make any money. They bring in more money than thy pay the cashier and so they still make a profit. SL is no different, if you want to be paid 500L you need to be doing something for someone that makes them more than 5ooL or else it makes no sense for them to pay you. So you need to think about what you could do in SL for someone else that would make them money, As you do this remember that in SL no one's store needs cashiers, shelves do not have to be stocked, floors do not have to be swept, nothing breaks and needs repairing. Most opportunities here involve a person starting and running a business, not getting hired by someone else.
