sophy7777
i want to make a clothing item that would bind the legs and arms to the body, but i wanted to make its own AO for that item is there a way to script it inside the clothing so when you attach it you can use the animation to walk ect? Lucia Nightfire
You can assign animations to your avatar's locomotion with http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetAnimationOverride With the arms and legs bound to the body, I'd imagine "walking" would resemble either that of a caterpillar's or flopping around like a fish out of water, heh. Bree Giffen
Yes, you can add animation to an item of clothing. Mesh clothes are attached objects just like hair, jewelry, etc. Right click the object to open the contents and add an animation script and animation file into your object. If you are binding the legs I suppose you want to create a special hopping walk? Or moving like an inchworm? Might be easier to create an AO hud that will be worn in addition to the clothing.
