Can't type the letter T by itself in general chat

I'm not sure what happened, its only when T or t are by themselves, be they in the middle of a sentence beginning or end, I have to put something around them to get it to show up, its a mild inconvenience but it is really annoying to me. Also my Alt can say it just fine, I have turned off all gestures, I have done a full delete and reinstall, something is up with this and I am mystified what.

Are you positive it's not something triggering a gesture?  Something attached?
