Question about where to open items

Hello. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, hopefully someone can move it to the right topic.

Just learned how to open items and to use them. But now I can't get back to the place I started SL, and I have no idea how a place is called where to open them.

I don't mind looking for one, but I don't no how to call it. 

Any help would really be appreciated.

often "sandboxes" are used for it, but there are also other places, some shops also have "rezz zones" .. modern packages don't need to be placed on a floor, but can attach them, the scipt will bring it in your inventory.

there are hundreds of rezz zones on the roads, some with decent timers.  If you're just looking for somewhere to unpack shopping bags this might be a better option, as nice and quiet.  I'll drop you a landmark inworld.

You can rez your boxes at Caledon Oxbridge University.  It's best to use one of the changing rooms.
