be honest.. how much did you spend on black friday this year? I don't want to feel totally guilty for it..!  so if your a shopaholic and shameless and have no guilt, lets hear it below. Mine is roughly 2.5K.. yep.. i don't even know if thats more or less last year, I'm thinking its less, because I didn't spend on any megapacks this year.. and with Addams and Blueberry i only stuck to their credit gifts. .. so where did 2.5 come from.. hair stores..a new body skin, some clothes from safria, osmia, and a few others.. lol..

I'm thinking about throwing some old stuff out and cleaning my inventory, so this black friday was a way of updating myself a bit..

I have a friend dragging me around to various sales & I have picked up a few things.  Modulus has 50% off & mercifully no one there this morning so got some new hair, 50% off everything at Mossu as well, but not much more for me to get there as I owned pretty much all of it already!  I've recently switched bodies so a good opportunity to look again at the stuff I couldn't get the first time!

I think I got about $80 dollars worth of stuff for about $30 U.S. dollars.  The $80 dollars worth of items includes free credit items too plus the one store that was 75% off.  I'm not done yet though.  I have about 2K lindens more to spend....still lots of great deals around.   I don't think it's shameless, I am super thrilled!  I also had a 50% off Dinkie items sale plus other items of MY items I make inworld which gave me a lot of my lindens.

Spending... and people think CoVid is contagious... The only way to reduce the spread is to put a mask over your monitor and stay away from groups.

For days Addams and their sales have had their two regions at capacity.

I've kept my spending to about 4k. All the new stuff goes in a folder. Next time I feel the urge to shop I open it and figure what to make into a new outfit. Sort of helps the addiction...

I’m not really tempted by much in SL this year, I’m still doing KonMari in both lives so that’s got my main attention. I might splurge on some templates and use them to play with texturing in 2021, and I might get a new Lelutka head while they are on sale. That’s going to be about it, my wallet gon’ stay fat!

After I was finished, which was after posting in this thread.. I ended up spending less than I usually would when all those big name sims are less crowded..

So I guess these sales saved me money.. on any given weekend I'll spend 20k just doing casual shopping 40k or more if I'm in a real mood to shop..

So around 5k with all those sales going on.. I did pretty good both in not spending and practicing good social distancing..

hehehehe

I'm not even done yet, and it is weekend sales tossed in too. Many sales end today, I am not sure what ends tomorrow. (Monday)

I don't want to sum it. Over 10 k, under 15 (I hope).

I already know I bought three things that was a flop. Will not say what, because I could have been smarter so it is me going to fast and cutting corners, not demo or demo too fast.

But it is not like I have never bought things and had buyer's remorse before. It is not unique to Black Friday.

I visited a few of my favorite stores pre-sale and picked up demos for clothes, and made a list of Home & Garden items where appropriate. I was able to put the demos through a rigorous tryout and was ready with a list the day I went shopping.  My total topped 20K but my purchases will stand the test of time, so Lindens well spent to me.  This total also included a visit to Tannenbaum and Uber which were not 50% off.  Still, Lindens well spent to me. And let's not forget the Arcade that is coming up.  Later's, I have to go shop now..
