No copy items can be copied?

I purchased an AO today. The poses inside are no copy. But I can still copy the AO in my inventory or rezz copies of it. All copies have a complete set of poses inside. How is that possible, when the poses are no copy? I must add I can't duplicate AOs which are rezzed.

Don't worry it happens a lot when a creator is not very experienced with permissions or made something in a rush.

I remember being told a long time ago to never change permissions inside the inventory folder but to always rez what you've created, change the permissions, and then take it back into inventory.

It's a good reason to have an alt. You can't really see and experience the end product permissions as the creator. The alt can test the product in the same way a customer would and see if there are any problems.

Wow. 12 years and I’m still learning some pretty basic stuff. This explains something I’ve often wondered about — why when I rez a copy item, and take it back into my inventory, it’s suddenly no copy.

Thanks a lot for the answers and explanations. Well, I use to change permissions inside the inventory. Probably I should stop that.
