When i switch my Genus head to bom , the system hair/hairbase (not sure what it is) shows. I have checked to make sure I removed all alphas. The bom skin appliers perfectly. I have tried using both applier and bom hairbases, changed my eyebrows. I simply am at a loss as to how to fix this.

I'm including a pic so you can see the issue.

I have tried asking in group chats, but am currently experiencing alot of issues getting my messages to go through.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm desperate! lol

You'll have to shrink the hair base. Right-click it in your inventory and edit it, go to the style tab, and drag the volume to 0. You can also change the texture to an alpha - but if the hair is larger than your head, that alpha will clip with hairs and such.

If it's no-mod, you can simply create your own - the only sliders that you have to worry about are those that shape your brows.

Yes, what Orwar said. It is laziness or lack of knowledge from the one that made the eyebrow shaper. It is the "brown cap symbol" that control your eyebrows height and arc. If you wear one that came with the skin, it is the skin creator who does not know anything about BoM. If it came with the hair, it is the hair creator.

I sent a polite notecard to a skin creator who had no modify brow shaper, never heard back. I made a brow shaper myself, but it is going to happen with so, so many of other people who does not know what's wrong. I am sure the skin creator didn't change a thing, believing it is a user fault.

Well yes. But some creators has been using the transparent texture and not bother to edit all the default hair inside the head. What do you get when a cap of alpha texture is poking out of your head? The hair you wear turns invisible because alpha + alpha = invisible.

The image show an eyebrow/default hair with an alpha texture. It is not better than brown cap, as in the first post. The hair volume must be set to 0, so nothing is outside of the head. Alpha or brown texture, both is causing issues unless it is inside the head.

As Orwar already said in 2020. Did you bother to reply to an old thread that already was solved?
