Opening my Store

I wanted to open a store in Market Place, but am unable to

The message I receive is:

"We're sorry, but this store is no longer available."

Can it be deleted so I can start a new one. Or can this one be reopened.

Are you trying to call it something already in use or a name previously used by someone else?  What happens when you log into the marketplace and then go to My Marketplace - My Store from the dropdown menu at the top?  or the merchant Home option?
