Firestorm Constantly Freezes

Hi all. I have a gaming pc (Acer Nitro 5) and firestorm used to run extremely well. I could be in ultra with no problems. A couple weeks ago I downloaded a few apps on my computer and ever since then, every time I get an IM, a tp, or something get returned to me my viewer freezes for a few seconds. I deleted all those apps I had, scanned for virsues, cleared my cache, and did a clean uninstall but the same thing happens. I even lag and instead of using ultra I use high. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?
