Granting editing permission won't work

Hello guys!

I've encountered a problem while trying to grant editing rights to my friend. Every time I select the option, the check mark appears but the name stays grey and the permission doesn't go through. It's been a few days now and it still doesn't work. I know very well how to use the permissions, I have used them plenty of times. I even tried granting this permission to other friends in case it was related to just one person but it's the same. It just gets stuck in grey forever. I tried changing it a couple of times for the past few days and nothing.

Not a specific solution, but an alternate approach ... When I am working with other creators, we work as members of the same group and we always set our work to Share With Group  -- not deeding it to the group -- so that any one of us will be able to work on it as long as we are wearing the group tag (and we all obviously have the appropriate ability within the group).

Has anyone tried granting permissions from the dashboard/my second life?  Might be a work around.

So since it's a bug regarding specific regions, I just teleported to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lewis/15/231/45 and IT WORKS!

Just had this happen to me and my friend. This worked for me, traveling to another region did nothing. However setting the permission on the web profile tab worked.

Well..... since the bug is specific to regions that have been uplifted to the cloud........... and ALL regions have now been uplifted to the cloud........ yeah, I wouldn't expect that changing regions now would necessarily do anybody any good............. but it did back when not all of the regions were in the cloud yet.
