Bad form to post the same question in multiple sub forums as people will respond not knowing you've already received an answer.
Lyssa Greymoon
Everything SL needs runs on the Apple Silicon, so it should. I guess we'll know for sure in a week or two.

Lindal Kidd
Haven't you heard? AMD is the new King of Silicon. CPUs, GPUs, and gaming system chips. Wow.
purrrkitten
Macs aren't really good for gaming overall. It'll probably run tho.

Apple is ditching AMD too and bringing everything in house with their own ARM based processors for everything. They announced the new Mac Mini, MacBook Air and 13" MacBook Pro today. They're replacing the weakest of the Intel Macs, and the least capable of running SL. So maybe it'll be better, I hope so. I'm a little hesitant about the real world performance of ARM CPUs running Intel code, but I don't think anyone is going to miss the Intel graphics hardware. Kimmi Zehetbauer
What I was reading is whatever works on IOS on the mobile will work on their new AS PC. So if the devs at the Lab or FireStorm or Singularity make a new client for AS based Macbooks, it should work on the pads and phones too.
