Few questions about Firestorm

Hello, I have few questions :

- Is there a way to change the timer of the avatar's chat bubbles appearance ?
- Is there a way to make people's name blink or briefly appear when they send a message in local without having to use the bubble text chat ?
- Is there a way to remove gesture text in local ?
- Is there a way to add the draw distance bar on the topbar on the classic Firestorm theme ?

I don't know about putting draw distance on the top bar, but it is quickly available via Quick Preferrences (a bottom bar button), if that helps at all.

This is currently not possible, chat bubbles are hard coded to be 24 seconds. However, you are more than welcome to request this feature at: https://jira.firestormviewer.org/

This might be possible. See the Chat > Visuals > "Show typing indicator in nametag above avatar". This may achieve the effect you desire. If not, please do feel free to submit a feature request at: https://jira.firestormviewer.org/

Unfortunately there is no way to distinguish between a gesture and regular chat, as chat from gestures is sent using the same message info as chat as if a resident has typed it out. You'll have to go to Linden Lab with this feature request: https://jira.secondlife.com/

Yes, but this would require modifications to the XUI, and I don't think we support modified XUI elements in support, and if done incorrectly, can make the viewer crash because of parsing errors. Again, you are more than welcome to request this feature at https://jira.firestormviewer.org/

I'd recommend using the chat bar as command line feature which allows you to type out the desired draw distance(EG: dd 128, dd 64, dd 1024, etc): https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/video_cmdline

Thank you. The draw distance setting with the nearby chat is awesome ! And the typing indicator is what I wanted !
