Help on how to script a petting counter

Hello , I was wondering if someone can help me , i'm trying to create a script that will keep track of how many times my avi has been petted so like for example i'd like other people to be able to click on my head and then it would have this text that would say something like 'You've been petted 2 times" etc and say for example that if no one has clicked yet like the text could say "click on my head to pet me" , any help would be really appreciated , i've been googling around but can't seem to figure out how to even begin.

Thank you but when I try to copy that in it comes up with a syntax error oof , do i have to add anything to that script?

I just had to add some spaces in and it compiled successfully , thanks for the help :3
