Cant load avatar, im a cloud, cant get dressed until its "finished loading" and then i look noob.

I have many accounts and only ONE of them when I log in tells me I cant. She stays a cloud for a long time, control, alt, r, and then i get the default noob me, dark tan one color skin, naked, and noobish brown base hair. I tried changing skins, clothes, everything and she still cant. It tells me I cant change clothes until its finished downloading, which i've sat on the account for a while. It wont load. I've even redownloaded SL (I only use pheonix) and ive done that like 3 times now. I dont know what to do.

I use Phoenix too and have had twice the same problem which was resolved by this:

Try a character test:

advanced menu > character > test (male or female).

You will be back to the basic skin & shape, then you will have to wear again your usual shape, skin, eyes, hair, etc...

You might want to login from a safe sim to do this (Smith, Pooley or Aqua) and wait till your invetory is FULLY LOADED before you do anything.

My recommandation is that you save your favorite appearance. When you are back to normal, edit your appearance: at the bottom right of the window click on the "save outfit" button. It will create a folder which you can name in a way you can always remember it. This folder will be saved in your inventory in the "clothing" folder. So next time your avatar crashes, you can easily retrieve and wear your "usual you"!

(ETA : I have alts like you do, and did not have the same problem with them, only my main avatar did.)

Your main avvie prolly gets used more so its possible the cache just needs clearing.
