General Manager
To begin, please understand that you are applying for a management position. This means that you are working along side the owners of EMH. Furthermore EMH means everything to them, and failure to preform your duties as a General manager won't be tolerated. We do understand RL comes first and we will respect that. We will ALWAYS respect that, but that does not mean that we will take half-assed work here.

If you understand that, then we can move forward!

Before you apply, you gotta know what you're walking into right?
There are 4 components to EMH: the Gallery, the Meditation sky lodge, the Makeover Parlor, and the Marketplace store. As the General Manager, you would be working alongside the Genesis (one of the owners) in handling the businesses and keeping it running. This would include handling any appointments set, speaking with clients and/or handling new CSR's and Stylists

** Please note this is NOT a paid position and must work a minimum of 3 hours in a week. Training will be provided for the right person and an additional meeting with the team will happen.

The Perks:

10% of each styling session successfully completed.

You will be working on a *XeoLife* enabled sim, possibility to network among well known names like:

> The Shops
> Industry

CSR Representative

As a CSR you will greet clients that come in store. We offer training, You must be able to work with customers and team members and also have some sort of customer experience as this is intensively customer-focused work.

As a CSR you are the faces our customers see. You essentially represent us, so you not only will we be picky of your customer service skills, but also of your typing skills and your avatar's general appearance.

This Sim is *XeoLife* enabled sim. We aim to provide our customers with quality service that is realistic and immersive. This means your emoting skills should be good - in case we host themed events (planning to).

** Please note this is NOT a paid position and you must work a minimum of 2 hours in a week. You must be present at EMH Events when hosted. Training will be provided for the right person and an additional meeting with the team will happen.

Assistant Manager

To begin, please understand that you are applying for a management position. This means that you are working along side the owners of EMH. Furthermore EMH means everything to them, and failure to preform your duties as Assistant manager won't be tolerated. We do understand RL comes first and we will respect that. We will ALWAYS respect that, but that does not mean that we will take half-assed work here.

If you understand that then we can move forward!

Before you apply, you gotta know what you're walking into right? As the assistant Manager you will take care of renting and maintaining adboards in popular places, reaching back to customers that click them, promoting EMH on social media, SL groups and Forums and managing appointments that have been set. You will also be responsible for checking new adboards at popular SL locations and informing owners of their availability and cost.


** You will need to list a weekly classified. The 50L/week for classifieds will be provided, adboard money will also be provided. The Adboards and classifieds will be checked.

** POACHING MONEY = INSTANT BAN

Basically your job is promoting us. Getting clients, this will also require that you have some type of social media. At least a Flickr.
Remember there are 4 components to EMH, the Gallery, the Meditation sky lodge, the Makeover Parlor, and the Marketplace store. You would be advertising all of EMH's 4 components.

Not exactly, as I said, this is a family run business and you get to keep all the tips earned, 10% of each makeover done and 200L per customer brought in. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough?

You never mentioned it being a family run business. I read the whole and couldn't find you mentioning it being a family business. You didn't mention about tips either, you clearly said it being a not paid position. Only the GM and Asst. Mgr gets the perks. Getting paid and getting the perks are totally different. It's more like, if I work here, I will get to earn advantages of working here but I won't be paid in Lindens.

Does seem like a lot is expected

for little or no pay.  All that is very time consuming and there's no guarantee anyone will come in.   But hey, that's just my opinion.

Furthermore EMH means everything to them" - its just me, my sister and our daughters running it for now so i agree that was not clearly explained. it is little pay, i agree to that also, however we do support all the costs of the sim, the publicity, ads, studio upgrades so we are not asking for money either. we've had a handful of people reach out to us so far and we are more than thankful for that. once we grow (with their help) there will be more forms of compensation

we are just starting up, paying for everything out of our pockets for now and we do need help of freelancers. we are well connected with numerous other businesses, so they will have an opportunity to branch out and develop further connections. thank you for your feedback though. i agree with your point of view :)

Hiya, this is the second owner. A lot is expected at the moment because we are opening. Once everything is set in place it will calm down. Nevertheless as General Manager your job is to run things. As a management position, a lot will always be expected. We aren't demanding though ^_^. We are a flexible and understanding of other's people's needs. 

I do understand if this isn't your cup of tea though.

Would it have changed anything if we had mentioned it was a family business? It's me, my sister, and our two daughters. Regardless, for a company that is just opening there is alot more money being put out into keeping us open than is available to pay the GM and Assistant Manager. If that's a problem to you that's completely acceptable and I understand why, and I completely understand you voicing your concern. 

You have every right to and we'll answer your questions and address your concerns within the best of our abilities.  I'm not entirely sure if you've ever run a business on SL, but I think a couple of people would agree that when you are FIRST starting, all the money you have goes to keeping said business open. Once we gain enough traffic and service and the business itself is set then we can turn our attention to compensating our team for their effort.

I understand where you are coming from, and fyi, I do run my own business of interior decorating and I run it by myself. I wasn't being rude or anything, just gave my opinion. I wish you all the success for your business and furthermore. No hard feelings.
