Not receiving items that were purchased.

While at a store, I purchased an item and did not receive it. I also deposited lindens to add to my account with the store, and did not get that either. I've tried to contact the owner, but within the group chat, the moderators has said he has not been on for several months. I am out almost $1000L. What can I do to try to get this back if they are not in game anymore?

Is there no redelivery terminal at the store?

I don't think I've come across a store system where you actually deposit your L$ as store credit and if I did, I'd avoid it like the plague, exactly for such scam concerns.

Afraid you can't do anything except checking back from time to time to see if the owner returned.

No redelivery terminal. Its the Pet trades system for breedables. When you use the item to list a breedable for sale, it takes out lindens from your account to pay for the listing. Thanks for your answer though. I am thinking I am out of luck, but one of the moderators said I might be able to report it or something.
