Movable mechanical parts of the armor on the avatar's body

Hello, please tell me how to open and close the moving mechanical parts on the avatar, you need to create two grids open state and grid closed state, or create an animation. For example, I want my hands to move the shield and a weapon to appear from there, how can I do this? It also turns out that these parts should not have rigging otherwise they will be tied to the bone.

Animesh is an option but a fairly overkill one as avatars can only wear one (basic) or two (premium) at the same time, it also brings numerous restrictions that are "not so great" for this type f project.

Otherwise, this is the kind of stuff that is typically done programatically, with your moving parts being separate meshs, linked together and then animated through LSL.
