Delete ignoring permissions?

Today I rezzed a box containing something I'd bought off Marketplace. After I'd copied its contents to inventory I clicked to delete it but accidentally deleted my club instead. Luckily I retrieved it from trash and put it back exactly how it was. So that was clumsiness on my part.

But the thing is, the club was locked in place. When I re-rezzed it, it still had the 'locked' box ticked and I couldn't move it to adjust its position until I unchecked it. I've never known a locked item to delete without showing the 'are you sure?' box before.

Assuming Firestorm, go to Preferences - Notifications - Alerts. Check the "Never Show" section. Select anything you may not want there and use the ^ to move it to the "Always Show" section.

Thanks. I use the LL viewer but I found the same options that you describe above. It is set so I have to confirm deletion of a locked object. As far as I know it's always been like that but when I had my deletion accident yesterday I don't remember seeing the confirmation pop-up. Either that or I was unaware that I'd selected the wrong object as the part of my club I was in has a lot of bright blue and yellow that makes highlighting less noticeable. 

Anyway all is back how it should be now🙂
