I have a belly piercing I bought when I was a Classic avatar.  Trying to use it on my Maitreya body doesn't work as it keeps moving around no matter where I attach it.

Did I miss an attachment point where it will work on Maitreya?  Or, will it simply not work and I have to buy fitted belly piercings for Maitreya?  I've tried attaching to leg and hip and it won't work.  It originally attached to belly or stomach but it won't work there either.

This belly piercing is beautiful and I'd like to be able to use it as it's very sparkly.  Is it possible to get it to work on Maitreya?

No, changing attachment points does not help, it will always move around.

Buy rigged ones. It is often some for 60 L in the Happy Weekend sale.

Awwwwwwww, bummer.  I was hoping maybe there was a way.  None sparkle like this one that I've found yet.

I will keep looking though for Maitreya ones.

Thankies for the info so I'm not so frustrated anymore.  I will have to let it go as it's for Classic avatars.

It is plenty to find for Maitreya, so you are lucky there.

Try to find piercings that has demos. The rigged ones can not be moved. Some skin makers paint the belly button a bit differently. A piercing can sit too high or too low, depending on the skin that you use.

Cynful has a nice one made for most of the bodies.  It's a simple stud type.  They also have piercings for other areas too.  I think they come in a couple huge packs.  Metals and stone changing hud.

If you really love it and can't bear to part with it, turn it into an earring. I've done that with several belly piercings. It'll need re-attaching to your ear (and duplicating if you want to wear it in both ears), and possible resizing and moving around to fit, but that's one way to repurpose a much loved older item.
