This is very important. Please don't send or spend any linden at all until we have talked and reached an agreement. I really don't want to end up with something that I cannot return because I don't have the linden to pay you back.

 

Just to make sure it is understood that since this post has been created as of 10/6/2020 I have never done any of these things before with money on the table. I have plenty of experience with doing these things just not for money. I do have experience doing business in other areas though in the past with custom buildings and scripting; I just prefer not doing scripting and buildings for money anymore, and I am trying to see where this business takes me.

Raw Terrain Files

I know there are many situations with terrain editing where you just cannot achieve without using raw terrain files that you need quite a bit of know how and specialized software outside of second life in order to achieve that terrain shape you are after. I have been there a few times myself, but I was lucky to have some of the know how and software at my disposal.

You will need to pay 10% of the cost upfront before I start my work.

1000 for a single sim file

800 per sim file for 2 or more

I am currently not going to do more then 4 sims at once. I just have this pricing listed here for referencing it in the future.

700 per sim file for 6 or more

800 per sim file for 12 or more if they are indented to be connected in one land mass

600 per sim file for 12 or more

 

Terrain Editing

If you just want me to edit your terrain on your sim in world or touch it up I will charge about 500 linden per hour of work, and I want the first hour payed up front. I am not going to be so uptight about this, but if we are going to be talking about what you want done for longer then 10 - 20 minutes or longer with no work being done then I may end up adding that to the time your charged for. I just don't want to waste my time in business related activity talking all day if that makes any sense. I just ask that if it comes to this you can understand and respect that. Most of the time for simple terrain editing it is just a quick simple discussion and done in less then an hour with is within the up front cost anyway.

 

Custom Clothing Kit Textures

For Custom clothing kit texturing you will have to choose from one of the kits I already have, or you will have to purchase the kit yourself and give me a copy of it, or purchase the kit for me by gifting or providing me the linden up front before I start the work. It is usually pretty quick work if I am not busy so you should not have to worry to much about you or me bailing at that point if you have to purchase a kit up front. If you purchased the kit for me and not for yourself I also may provide a 50% discount for the work depending on how much was spent on the kit. Some kits are very expensive, and I am only trying to be as fair as I can by providing this discount. I cannot just go around purchasing the kits myself all the time or I would loose money very fast, else I would have to raise my prices very high. I like to try to keep my prices as low as I can for those who just want a simple custom clothing item made that is not for resale.

I will charge 600 linden per clothing texture and apply it to the product with modify, copy, and no transfer permissions. I am also willing to hand the item over to a few others with no extra cost, but if you come to me wanting me to transfer it to other people later down the road I am might ask for another 100 linden or so for my time especially if this becomes a regular thing or there are more then a few people you want me to send it to. If it is you misplaced your copy I am not going to chare extra to send it back, because it is your product that you paid for. If you want full perms of the product with the texture in your inventory; you will need to have purchased the dev kit for yourself and you will need to pay 5000 for the texture. This is because I don't want people reselling it or using it for business purposes without me getting a reasonable cut of the profit for my work. I may be able to work out some other deals depending on the situation and depending on what I am able to do to. I am usually pretty laid back about a lot of things as long as I am not doing a lot of extra work for free, getting paid a fair price, and not being scammed to provide cheap work for you to use and make a profit.
