Hey all,

Ok so first time posting in these forums, I'm having issues with a script I'm working on but every time it tries to ping back to my servers for updates, I get a 499 error, my SSL certificates are valid, I've even swapped from a lets encrypt certificate to a paid for premium certificate. about a week ago my scripts were working, and since about the weekend, I've just been getting 499 errors.

can any one advise on any possible fixes to solve this?

Scripts have been restarted, sim restarted, web server restarted etc...

Thanks,

Yuki

I cant say I have recently as I only want to run it over https. I'll reconfirm connectivity but im pretty sure its accessible from the outside world.

That came up at Server User Group this week. Others reported seeing that. HTTP status code 499 is something SL generates for some internal reason. Too many HTTP requests can cause it. But it may be some internal SL problem, too.
