Wearing two of an item?

I am super confused and I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a way to wear two of an item I bought? My character has two tails, I've found a perfect tail but I don't know if there's a way to wear two of it?

Make a copy and paste in the folder then Choose add instead of wear.

If it is mod you may be able to rename it  and attach it separately. Not sure if your tail is rigged or not though and that might make a difference. You CAN wear more than one thing on the same place as an attachment. You need to ADD and not "wear".

 

I just tested this and you need to make  a COPY of the original (renaming is optional but would be handy) and then you can wear both. HOWEVER if the item is rigged and you cannot change the orientation it will just "duplicate" the same tail in the same place. So you really need an unrigged (older style) tail to get what you want.
