Recently I bought a flower basket, which said that players could click on it and receive flowers, but anytime anyone clicks on it I get this script bug, and nothing happens. The notecard that came with the item said.

1) Wear the Basket
2) Modify to your own hands to carry it by moving or rotating
3) After wearing it Click and choose which color bouquet
4)  The person clicking on the bouquet can wear the flower and it will play a smell animation.
5)  Enjoy!

But this is not happening. Can anyone offer any assistance?

Did you try clicking on it while you were wearing it?  do you get anything besides the color change option?

I only get "Wearred", "wearpink" etc, and that it.

And when I click it, it gives me an item, but if anyone else clicks it I get the script bug, although the notecard literally says that people can click on it and receive it.

I'd explain your issue in a notecard and drop it on the creator.  I've run across items that didn't work as indicated and have had always had a good response from the creator.

In order for an item that you sell to a customer have the function of delivering another item from it, like a coffee cup or in your case a flower bouquet, the maker has to put that item on transfer. Not all of them figure this out. It does not good to put "give gift" as that won't carry over to the guests of the owner, just to the owner. It simply has to be put on transfer, and not every merchant wants to do that because it means there is a risk of theft.

Of course the obvious point is that if you take that item off "mod," and put only "copy/transfer," anyone receiving it from you, or you yourself, cannot put it to sale -- it's not on mod. You could only give it away in theory. And most people aren't interested in giving away an item that comes from a basket or coffee pot. For one reason, when it is "stand alone," it is at a skewed angle, so that it appears correctly in the avatars' hands. So it's of little attraction as a giveaway item, even, without the receptacle it started in.

I also solve this problem with a script I commissioned that prevents copyright theft from such deliverables.
