Question

So i logged into SL one day and it says that my clothing is still downloading. I thought it was normal, sometimes it happened and it only took a minute or two..But now it won't load ANY of my clothes..

So I'm turning to the forums for some aid..Any ideas? Its not my connection or my firewalls..

Sometimes that happens to me because it is taking a long time to download my inventory, it especially happens after I have just cleared my cache. What I do is go to Smith, open my inventory recent tab, wait for the green numbers to stop saying fetching and then go about my day. It supposedly helps to type in something while you are waiting for your inventory to load, if nothing else it helps to pass the time. Have fun!

Are you clearing cache after every session?  You do not need to do so.  In fact, you do not need to clear your cache very often at all.  Take Charolotte's suggestion and log in at Smith or Pooley and let your inventory load completely before you do anything else.  Do not open a browser, do not send IMs to friends, nothing.  Walk away from your computer until it loads completely.

Good luck!

Are you a cloud (or white ball) or are you naked?

Go to your Library Clothing folder & drag one of the avatar folders on to your avvie.

or

Reset your avvie to default, depending which viewer you are using this is done here:

Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female)

Developers Menu (ctrl alt Q)>>Avatar>>Character Tests>>Test Male (or Female)
