Why Not has several sets on sale this weekend, including the Invergordon Fireplace (fireplace 5 LI, dogs 1 LI each, mantle clock 3 LI, painting 1 LI - it doesn't look like the fire can be turned off, though, as there are no scripts in the demo model) for $75, and the Thurso Industrial Dining Set, also for $75. (table & texture-change rug 6 LI, texture-change chairs 3 LI each, buffet table with all decor shown 33 LI and all linked place settings - not shown -  32 LI - but you can opt for an empty table and add your own lower-LI decor).

WARNING, WARNING! The fire cannot be turned off, and the buffet table cannot be unlinked!!!!!! Oh well.

The Tarte sale is still on until 21th September. I bought some decor stuff. The highest Li is the hanging plants, 3 Li each and the homemade photo hanger (pictures from a branch). But I think they are worth it. Especially the photo hanger, it is a lot of decor value. The rest is 1-2 Li each. I like the scrunchy carpets since they are often a very high Li. The Boho one (in the back) is only 1 Li.

I almost forgot, the Airondack chairs is for the Saturday Sale. Only the PG ones are 75 L, but you get 3 versions. From 2-4 Li. The pillow and throw change tecture. It is a firepit too (sold separate), but I did not like it.

Sorry that 2 chairs overlap, I was in a hurry, and I noticed it just now.

Muniick, as usual, has lots of stuff on sale. The pack of 3 kitchen items (toaster and blender 1 LI each, microwave with opening door 2 LI) with 4 metal textures costs $75. The texture-change 5 LI island and 2 LI stool set costs $60 for the PG version and $75 for the Adult.

The bedroom furniture is $50 for PG, $75 for A. Seven wood textures.

The 9 LI bath tub/shower is on sale for $60 (PG) or $75 (A).

All of these items have been on sale before - so check your inventory!

The really nice thing about the people at Muniick is that if you've bought an item from them before (been there, done that), you'll get a nice message telling you that and they return your linden.

My first stop at the fabulous SOS Festival supporting Doctors Without Borders was at Dekute Dekore  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SOS Shopping 2/188/89/24  where virtually everything is 1 LI with only a few items as high as 2 LI.  I would say half to 2/3 of the sales go 100% to support Dw/oB so how can you go wrong??  The Festival extends until Oct 2nd and more information is available here:  http://www.thesosfestival.com/index.html  Off to see what else I can find!!

And, oh, my goodness, how beautiful is this Third Eye set at Wythburn  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SOS Shopping 1/152/142/24 ?  The bench with cushions is 5 LI, the table 2 LI, sold separately, and both are a 100% donation to Doctors Without Borders.   Come to the SOS Festival, have some fun, furnish your homes with gorgeous items and support the humanitarian organization that is, IMHO, one of the finest on our little globe.

Ha! I'm glad my exercise in procrastination is helpful - makes me feel less guilty about not doing the stuff I ought to be doing!
