And this is thread is degenerating. Only the first few posts are actually relevant to the initial question. Instead of attacking each other, lets try and help the person who started the thread and asked an honest question!!!

Skyhope1, If you are interested in being a sex worker, I can help you with that .The other suggestions are definitely wonderful. Look to yourself and see what your interests are. That way it's not "work".

No one is attacking here. You're just assuming things on your own. I am just stating what other ways are of to work. And anyways,  we all know what's more degenerating here.

Maybe I'm just old...but Skye has said she is 18yrs old...and you are promoting sex work for her?  I know this is something that happens in the big bad "real world", but I find it...unsavoury.

True. And not everyone wants to work as a sex worker. I don't know about other countries, but in my country, that's a crime.

@Skyehope1 In addition to the suggestions made by Zack, you could also work as a photographer and charge to take pictures for people.

Or become a blogger? I don't think they earn lindens but they get free stuff from their sponsors like clothes and stuff. Jordan would know more since she's a blogger.

I suggest you take your time to learn more about sl first. That way you can have more to offer and a wider range of jobs to choose from. Join groups that interest you, make some friends and explore 'cause sometimes you hear about hiring opportunities through all that.

ETA: You can also keep an eye on the Employment section of this forum. I see jobs being posted there every now and then.

I missed the 18 year old part. I know she's old enough legally, but doesn't have enough RL experience to know what she's getting into. So I can tell her about the work, as you can., but she needs a bit more RL experience before making that decision. And hopefully an 18 year doesn't have enough sexual experience to be a good sex worker, although I know that's not always the case.

I promote sex work for those of us who want to experience it in SL as a kink, but not for anyone around 18.

I said the same thing. Plus she's 2 weeks old, she needs to be at least 30 days old to get a job here.

That's her decision to make. If she wants to be a sex worker or not. But I would defo disagree with this *****. Pleasing men and earning lindens won't give you a respect either. She'll be better off if she worked as a model either.

I'm not against sex work, as I know it has its place in all worlds, but I am just saying what others have said...that there is SO MUCH MORE to Second Life than sex.

You have said that it's your fantasy to work in that industry - and all power to you!  Second Life is about enjoying yourself and living out a life you may not be able to in reality.

That being said, my comment to you ages ago of the "I'm an escort, ask me how!" tag is not looking that far fetched after all.

NOBODY asked for you to explain here if she's of age, experience or whatever. ( btw... in mány countries 18 isn't of legal age to work as hooker/protitute/whore or escort)

But you have promoted it to an 18yr old...on this thread.  She is looking for a JOB, not some way to get her "kink" on.  And that made me feel icky thinking an 18yr old HAS a kink...yikes I must be getting old!!!!

Well, she asked for a JOB as Jordan said. And she's new to SL too. So maybe instead of dragging her into sex workers life, try giving her a decent job. If you cannot afford to give her a decent job, stop promoting about your "kink" here. No one has asked for your kink or interested in either. If she wanted something related to sexual activity, pretty sure, she'd have mentioned it, which she did not. Also I noticed you saying "doesn't have enough RL experience in what she getting into", hypothetically saying, that sounds more like a warning then an explanation or message. And since that sounds really bad which gives me a vibe "stay in your lane. what you're getting into, you might not be able to back off" - it would be really great if you make her stay away from "sexual activity" unless you're able to hand over a decent job.

Since when isn't sexwork a "decent job"???

Since when "sex work" is a decent job? Do you earn respect by pleasing men? NO! Does people look up to you as an idol? HELL NO!! Is "sex" a means of earning money? A BIG FAT NO!!!

A decent job is where you earn respect and not sell that respect or dignity to earn money!

Woman!! I can do this all day. 🙂
