Error when trying to access forums through front login page

past several days I log in to my home page in the SL site then click the little drop down to go to Community - forums - and I get the following error.

I have to then click the "forums" drop down above and it loads the forums for me.... odd?

Yeah, that seems to have started when they rolled out the other changes this past week -- changes with formatting and some of the features and such.  Looks like someone forgot to update that web link.

I also had a heck of a time getting logged back into the forums.  It logged me in but when I got here, it showed me logged out, sent me to log in, showed me logged in yet still wasn't able to be logged into forums.  

The fun just never ends.

That happened to me on Thursday night, when they were just starting the upgrade, but it suddenly cleared up mid-morning on Friday.  I think it's going to take a while for all the flags to get set properly so the system will settle down and behave "normally" again.  I've watched LL upgrade or completely change forum software many times over the past 13 years.  There's always been some bumpiness at first.  It's all like trying to do aircraft maintenance while all your planes are in the air.

They broketh it! The railroad mboard my man is an admin on going to do an upgrade too and runs Invision Board.

Many of the people here don't ever go to the Technology section or go there so seldom that they forget there is such a section.  I know that I often forget to go scan that section first when I have an issue.

I am not a technology guru so that part of the forums is in my opinion above my brain grade.

Yes, getting to the forums from the Dashboard does appear to be fixed.
