How do I change Premium to Basic

I cancelled Premium before. It automatically signed me up again,. How do I stop this/

If you tell Linden Lab that you want to drop to Basic, your account will be marked as "Pending Downgrade" until the end of the period that you have already paid for.  You will continue to get the L$300/week stipend and will have all of your Premium privileges (except that you cannot own land on the Mainland, or own a Linden Home).  Because your Premium account is prepaid, and Linden Lab does not offer refunds, you will not be a Basic member until whenever your Premium account would have been scheduled to autorenew.  For that reason, the best advice is not to downgrade until the very end of your term.  That way, you can continue to own mainland right up to the end.
