Anyone know how to adjust shoe sizes?

yes
often by build in script
often rigged well enough for a specific body/feet ( will not fit others)
somtimes hide the feet with the alpha cut hud ( mesh)
sometimes the good old resizing by using the building tool
sometimes not needed to do anything other than wear the delivered alpha layer

If they are rigged for feet of mesh avatars, they do not adjust at all. There are 1 brand, Legacy, where the the shoes grow larger as you edit the foot bigger. Another brand, Maitreya is starting with this, but that will go slow.

If you have an avatar without mesh feet, you will have problems adjusting any shoes unless you find older shoes, at least older than 2015. Those can have resizer scripts or be edited manually, as Alwin said.

You can see if you have a mesh avatar if the feet have real toes and toenails instead of a flat paddle.

The most recent Maitreya version has resizeable (sp?) feet.  If the shape you have been using has feet set to zero - pretty standard in sl - the feet of the latest body will be too small for your maitreya shoes.  You can fix this by setting your foot size to 25 (more or less).  Future shoes for maitreya may well adjust to the foot size slider in shapes, but the vast majority currently do not.  If your shape is no modify you really need to get a better shape.  Fortunately the shapes that come with mesh heads are pretty well always modifiable, so you can adjust the body to suit your style.  I always copy across my body sliders first thing with every new head as the body shape is never very close to personal preference.

What shoes are you trying to use? If they are rigged for a specific body/foot e.g. Slink/Maitreya/Belleza etc you will need that brand some of the lesser known bodies will work well with Slink/Maitreya fits. If you are using the latest Maitreya body you need to adjust your foot size to 25 to wear existing shoes if you happen to have a lot of shoes meant for the original "classic avatar" as may be seen on product ads to denote products suitable for system avatars not the new TMP meshbody called "classic". If they are modify or have a resize script you can resize them and reposition them to work with Maitreya feet. I have tried making shoes for system work with Slink feet and it doesn't really work

There is another possible reason that someone may want to adjust their shoe size, and that's to wear heels on a male body.

If that is the case for the OP, then - depending on the body in question - the choices are much more limited. Belleza's Jake body (and to a lesser extent Signature's Gianni body) are the two male bodies that have a few pairs of heels made for them.

Those of us who use male mesh bodies and also like to wear heels have developed a lot of tricks for doing so ;) So - again - if that's what's being requested here, I have some tips and options (check for the rigs offered, as most will only be for one or two male bodies and I'm compiling this list off the top of my head) that will allow those using male mesh bodies to wear heels:

  • Riot have some heeled thigh boots, as well as their Trixie Heeled Socks. The latter of those allow male mesh bodies to wear female-rigged shoes, but with two caveats: you'll also be wearing socks, and your feet may look comically small if your overall avatar is fairly big
  • Cubura: two sets of heeled knee boots
  • L'Emporio & PL: unisex fitted heeled thigh boots
  • Tacox: heeled unisex platform ankle boots
  • Semller: heeled ankle boots
  • Static: heeled unisex boots
  • Boys to the Bone: heeled knee boots, plus several pairs of high platforms
  • Sakide: resizeable ankle boots (search their MP store for 'Takea')
  • Blackburns: lots of older sculpted boots that still look great and are modifiable to fit male feet

There are a few more, but those were the ones I could think of without being logged in and able to check my inventory.

Look for any boots that can be resized. These will always be unrigged, so they'll tend to be ankle or below-knee boots.

Another trick you can try is to wear female-rigged boots under any pants that have a slightly flared cuff, especially if the leg length of the pants is such that it hides most of the body of the boot but still shows the sole and heel. The discrepancy between expected male foot size and actual female shoe size is less noticeable that way. Even better if the shoes in question are 'chunky' in appearance. In the example below my body is Gianni, all clothing is Gianni, but the shoes are rigged for Maitreya Lara:

Likewise, if you're wearing a top or jacket that comes down to the hips you can often get away with wearing female rigged pants and female rigged shoes, as the lower part of the top will cover the size discrepancy (and poor fit) at the waist. Again, how good this will look depends on the overall size of your avatar. You can cobble together some unexpected mashups of body/clothing/footwear by doing this. In the example below I'm wearing the Signature Gianni body. The jacket is rigged for Belleza Jake, and the pants and heels are both rigged for Maitreya Lara:

I recently participated in a drag event (nowhere near as glamorous as you, Skell, I was more a cariacature), and my solution (with Gianni) was a pair of old modifiable heels with the sculpty feet built-in. Making them big enough to fit around my ankles resulted in the feet being - well, at least a size 13, I reckon.
